Limit one entry per person per Designated Game and one entrant name per mobile phone number per Designated Game.
Entries are personal to the entrant and may not be transferred, assigned, sold, substituted, or claimed by another person.
6. Entry Window
Entry opens when gates open for each Designated Game. Entry closes immediately before the bat contacts the ball that results in the first Prize-Winning Home Run for that Designated Game, or at the official end of the game if no Prize-Winning Home Run occurs.
Entries must be completed before the official time the bat makes contact with the pitched baseball that results in the Prize-Winning Home Run.
Sponsor’s designated contest officials shall determine, in their sole discretion, the official time of the swing/contact, using available game records, video footage, SlickText timestamps, judge observations, and other relevant evidence. The timestamp recorded as received by the entry platform controls.
7. Prize-Winning Home Run Definition
A Prize-Winning Home Run occurs only when all of the following conditions are satisfied:
- The batter is an eligible Richmond Flying Mummies player.
- The player is batting during a normal at-bat in a Designated Game.
- The pitched baseball is hit by the player.
- The baseball passes completely through the official 36-inch Target Hole on the fly.
- The baseball enters the Target Hole from the side of the Target Template nearest the player.
- The baseball passes through the Target Hole before touching any object or person, except the Target Template itself.
- The play is ruled a valid home run under applicable league rules.
- The Prize-Winning Home Run is certified by Sponsor’s designated contest officials and verified as required.
The following do not qualify: batting practice home runs, home run derby hits, exhibition game home runs, playoff home runs, pregame activities, promotional contest hits, balls that bounce through the Target Hole, balls that hit the fence before passing through the Target Hole, balls that hit wall padding, a glove, net, wire, railing, fan, player, umpire, scoreboard, drone, bird, flag, or any other object or person before passing through the Target Hole.
A ball may contact the Target Template itself and still qualify, provided it otherwise passes completely through the Target Hole on the fly and satisfies all other requirements.
8. Target Template and Target Hole
The Target Template is located behind the left field home run fence at Don McBride Stadium. The Target Hole measures 36 inches in diameter. The lowest point of the Target Hole is positioned above the required 11 feet from the playing surface. The Target Template is positioned at least 330 feet from home plate. The sign is fixed in place.
Sponsor may inspect, measure, photograph, video, and document the Target Template and Target Hole before or during Designated Games. Sponsor’s records, measurements, judge observations, and available video may be used to verify compliance.
9. Official Rulings and Verification
The umpire’s ruling controls whether the play is a valid home run under applicable league rules. Two Sponsor-appointed contest officials, who are not spectators, must certify that the Prize-Winning Home Run occurred and that promotion conditions were satisfied. Sponsor’s contest officials determine whether the ball satisfied the contest target requirements. All determinations are final, subject to verification by any applicable prize administrator.
Sponsor may use video footage, game records, judge observations, SlickText timestamps, photographs, measurements, witness accounts, and other relevant evidence to determine whether all promotion requirements were satisfied.
10. Fan Interference and Tampering
Any fan, employee, player, staff member, or third party interference that affects the flight of the ball, the Target Template, the Target Hole, the ability to verify the attempt, or the integrity of the promotion may void that attempt.
Any attempt to manipulate the entry system, submit entries using automated means, interfere with the target, alter the ball’s flight, provide false information, impersonate another entrant, or otherwise undermine the integrity of the promotion will result in disqualification and may result in removal from the stadium.
11. Winner Selection
If a Prize-Winning Home Run occurs, Sponsor will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible completed entries received for that Designated Game before the bat contacted the ball that resulted in the Prize-Winning Home Run.
The selected entrant is not the winner unless and until eligibility, identity, presence, entry timestamp, and all other promotion requirements are verified. The selected entrant will be referred to as the Potential Winner until verification is complete.
12. Potential Winner Notification and Verification
Potential Winner must report to the announcer’s booth located behind Section [TBD โ confirm before launch] within five minutes after notification by text message, public announcement, scoreboard announcement, direct staff contact, or any combination thereof.
If the Potential Winner fails to appear within that time, cannot be located, is not present, is ineligible, or fails verification, Sponsor may randomly select an alternate Potential Winner from the remaining eligible entries for that Designated Game.
Potential Winner must present an acceptable government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of ID include: driver’s license, state ID, military ID, or passport.
The first and last name submitted with the entry must reasonably match the Potential Winner’s government-issued photo ID, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Minor spelling variations, abbreviations, hyphenation differences, or common nicknames may be accepted if Sponsor determines the entrant is the same person. Sponsor may reject any entry where identity cannot be verified.
Potential Winner must remain present through verification and must complete all required affidavits, releases, tax forms, identity verification, eligibility verification, and any other documents required by Sponsor or any applicable prize administrator. Failure to complete required documents or satisfy verification requirements may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
13. Prize
One verified winner will receive $100,000, subject to these Official Rules and verification. Only one prize is available for the entire promotion. After the first verified Prize-Winning Home Run and verified winner, the promotion ends and no further prizes will be awarded.
Maximum total prize liability for the entire promotion is $100,000. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of prize is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize is not payable unless all promotion requirements are satisfied and the Potential Winner is verified.
14. Taxes
Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs or expenses associated with accepting the prize. Winner must complete all required tax forms and documentation. Prize may be reported to the IRS on Form 1099 or other applicable tax forms. Failure to provide required tax information or complete required documents may result in forfeiture of the prize.
15. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited by law, by entering and/or accepting the prize, entrant grants Sponsor, Uranus Fudge Factory, and their respective designees the right to use entrant’s name, likeness, image, voice, hometown, photographs, video footage, statements, and biographical information for advertising, publicity, promotional, social media, website, broadcast, livestream, print, and other commercial purposes in any media now known or later developed, without additional compensation, notice, review, or approval.
16. Technical Issues and Entry Errors
Sponsor is not responsible for delayed, failed, incomplete, misdirected, undelivered, garbled, or late text messages, mobile carrier delays, technical failures, weak signal, user error, SlickText/platform issues, device issues, internet issues, or any other technical problem that may affect entry, notification, verification, or participation. The timestamp recorded as received by the entry platform controls.
17. Release and Limitation of Liability

18. Disputes
Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility, entry validity, winner selection, verification, prize qualification, interpretation of these Official Rules, and all other matters relating to the promotion are final and binding, subject to applicable law and verification by any applicable prize administrator.
Entrant agrees that any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees, punitive damages, consequential damages, and other damages except where prohibited by law.
